ABOUT MATTHEW
Matthew H. Rosenthal was a legal intern for two Federal Judges — Senior Judge Harvey Schlesinger, and Judge Roy Dalton, Jr. — in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville. During that time, Mr. Rosenthal conducted legal research, attended hearings and trials, and prepared Orders.
Mr. Rosenthal also has experience working in the non-profit sector. He worked as a Transactional Attorney for Wounded Warrior Project, Inc., in Jacksonville, Florida. Mr. Rosenthal was a member of the In-House Counsel team responsible for researching and drafting memoranda on legal issues such as insurance, contracts, risk management, licensing, taxes, employment, and organization policy.
Additionally, Mr. Rosenthal’s responsibilities included preparing binding contractual agreements including, but not limited to, master service agreements, independent contractor agreements, sponsorship agreements, partnership agreements, and licensing agreements.
Mr. Rosenthal conducted investigations in pursuit of trademark infringement, was responsible for the training and oversight of legal interns and advised staff attorneys.
After that, Mr. Rosenthal worked for a litigation firm, researching and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery. Mr. Rosenthal also made court appearances, negotiated and settled cases, and attended mediations.
In 2015, Mr. Rosenthal launched M.H. Rosenthal Law, PLLC and began accepting clients in January 2016. Above all, the goal of the practice is to provide customized and tailored legal services to clients.
On February 1, 2019, M.H. Rosenthal Law, PLLC merged with Meyer and Associates, Counselors at Law, PLLC to form Rosenthal Meyer, PLLC.

ABOUT JUSTIN
Justin A. Meyer has worked for Finra, a financial regulator; LeClairRyan; and the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia. He has been recognized as a Technology Litigation Fellow by the Center for Legal and Court Technology in Williamsburg, Virginia and was selected to participate in the Center’s annual lab trial.
Mr. Meyer focuses on corporate law and estate planning for the small business owner. During his time at Finra, Mr. Meyer worked in Registration and Disclosure, developing policies relating to past criminal sanctions, as well as assisting in decisions regarding expungement of customer complaints against registered brokers. While at LeClairRyan, he assisted in the representation of a Community Association against a developer and worked to develop litigation strategies.
At the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia, Mr. Meyer worked with an underserved population and assisted clients in estate planning and protection from debt collectors. He also advised clients on property matters and uncontested divorces. He worked for the National Center for State Courts, a non-governmental policy organization, helping to establish a guidebook for judicial election and campaign oversight.
Prior to entering law school, Mr. Meyer worked as a financial and legal writer, with articles appearing in national and regional publications as well as Yahoo! Finance. He also worked as a senior research analyst for a think tank in Princeton, NJ, focusing on real estate and hedge fund due diligence best practices.
Mr. Meyer is currently a regular contributor to the Legal Connection, a monthly newsletter for attorneys and legal staff. he was also published in The Suffolk Lawyer, a newspaper that is distributed to all members of the Suffolk County Bar Association.
Mr. Meyer earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland, College Park, an M.A. from Stony Brook University, both in history and a J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, where he was a member of the William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law. He was Education Chair of the College’s chapter of the Virginia Bar Association and is a member of the Florida Bar Association.

ABOUT MICHAEL
Michael Day serves as Of Counsel to Rosenthal Meyer, PLLC in the firm’s Insurance, Service Contracts, and Warranty Programs division. Mr. Day joined M.H. Rosenthal Law, PLLC in July 2017 and continued with the firm after its merger into Rosenthal Meyer, PLLC. Mr. Day focuses his practice on insurance, service contract, and warranty law. He assists insurers, providers, administrators, and resellers to develop compliant products, programs, and processes. This includes assisting parties to form entities and obtain required licensure. Mr. Day also assists companies with the drafting and filing of forms and contracts, developing compliance procedures, and interacting with regulatory departments.
Mr. Day is an experienced transactional attorney, with a deep understanding of specialty insurance, service contract, and related products. Examples of Mr. Day’s transactional work include the representation of an insurance company in its bid to become the exclusive portable electronic device insurance provider for a national wireless carrier. Mr. Day also advised a U.S. based insurance services company on multiple cross-border transactions, including efforts to secure underwriting and administrative support in Canada. As an experienced advisor in the area of portable electronic device insurance, Mr. Day represented a service contract provider in informal discussions with multiple state insurance regulators inquiring as to the applicability of insurance regulations to membership products offered by the provider.
Today, Mr. Day enjoys assisting resellers (including online retailers, wireless carriers, device and accessory manufacturers, MVNOs and MVNEs, distributors and dealer groups) to develop programs and partner with insurers, administrators and reinsurers to bring those programs to market and maximize profitability while ensuring compliance.
Mr. Day received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Syracuse University, cum laude, in 2006. In 2012, Mr. Day graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law with honors, magna cum laude.

ABOUT BRUCE
Bruce A. Meyer has been practicing for more than 40 years and has counseled both small businesses and individuals. His practice has focused on the needs of the client and he has worked primarily on general corporate matters, including serving as a general counsel for his clients and estate planning. He has also focused on the creation of business entities and trusts, and real estate transactions.
For over 35 years, he was an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Accounting, Tax and Business Law at Hofstra University and received the Hofstra University Distinguished Teaching Award. In addition, Mr. Meyer has lectured before many professional and business organizations on tax, financial and real estate planning.
Mr. Meyer received his BS in Business with a major in accounting from Lehigh University, graduated from Brooklyn Law School and earned an MBA in Taxation and Accounting from Hofstra University. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the New York State Bar Association, the American Association of Attorney-CPAs, the AICPA, and the New York State Society of CPAs.
